Fashion and costume are in Elvis’ blood. His father was a bespoke tailor and Elvis started designing costumes at age 11 before moving into the family business and setting up his own store .
After developing an interest in military and vintage uniforms, he soon became the go-to guy for any productions requiring such wardrobe, and he drew upon his extensive collection of originals to recreate perfect film ready costumes. For five-time Oscar winning film ‘Saving Private Ryan’ Elvis sourced and made over 750 authentic costumes using specially manufactured components from around the world.
Elvis’ breadth of work is impressive, from ancient and medieval to modern, from big to low budget. Elvis understands the importance of getting the highest production value on screen and works incredibly hard to achieve this. He’s worked on many foreign and difficult locations where resourcefulness and experience are key to success. He holds a US 01 work visa and is a member of the Costume Designers Guild . (local 892). With bases in the US and UK he is available for work worldwide.
